    The Groundhog Was Right

    I very rarely believe that pesky little groundhog when he sees or does not see his shadow. Mostly because I don’t think he has the best track record of being correct. However, this year he has hit the nail on the head with six more weeks of winter. We have had unusually cold temps for this time of year and a few days of freak snow. Spring is WAY more my jam but until then we can at least still get some more sweater wearing days in.     Carry On Essentials!

    If the last five years have taught me anything, it is that I am an over packer. (And that I wait till the last minute to actually pack….stay up the majority of the night and finally finish with a good hour to sleep!)     Well, this first few weeks of school has kicked my butt! I am thanking all things holy for the weekend getaway we had to Cali before school started. Somehow, I saved one of my hardest quarters ever for my last term… and that includes the term I took 20 hours.
